Listen to what he said in today’s Gospel passage: “No one can receive anything except what is given him from heaven.” (John 3:27). How often do we remember this? How often do we ministers of God remember that we must decrease and allow God to increase in the hearts of our flock?

The wise men gave gifts to Jesus because they recognized His Divinity, His Kingship and His Sacrificial role for mankind. The question is: “what kind of gifts do I render to Jesus?

And just as Peter obeyed the word of Jesus to cast his net into the sea, we would all be surprised what we are capable of doing, if only we decide to obey God’s words every day of our life.

Are you a victim of jealousy? Don’t be discouraged. Don’t give up. Don’t begin to hide your talents because of those trying to pull you down. Regardless of the stumbling blocks on your way, remain motivated, keep bearing fruits; keep shining. If you cannot fly, then run, if you cannot run, then walk, if you cannot walk, crawl
