“If God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O men of little faith?” (Matthew 6:30) Enter this New Year as a man/woman of great faith. Believe that you serve a God who knows how to provide, how to create dry roads in the midst of rivers, how to make ways where there seems to be no way. Expect the best.

Prayer is therapy. Prayer is medicine. Prayer is the best health tip. Prayer is fun. Prayer is life. When we pray, we should not be so concerned about the outcome of prayer; about getting this or that or solving this problem or that issue. Enjoy prayer by itself, enjoy your communion with God.

For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. Ever since the creation of the world, his invisible nature, namely, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:19-21)

Jesus says: “The kingdom of God is in your midst.” The kingdom of God is what happens when I make my heart pure enough for God to dwell. The kingdom of God is when I allow God to reign in my life; when I follow His commandments when I walk according to His statutes.

You don’t wait for the rain to start before you get an umbrella. If you can read this message, know that you are not too old to die. Today, ask yourself: “What plans am I making to secure eternal life for myself in heaven?”

The key to avoiding secret sins is deepening our fear of God; consciously reminding ourselves that God is the only one that deserves our fear since he can not only kill the body but has the power to cast us into hell fire

Reduce the time you spend on entertainment every day. Read books. Read good books. Try to finish one book every single week (or 1 month at least). Invest in wisdom. Be committed to self-improvement in everything you do. No need to pursue money, you can never catch it. Pursue wisdom and money will pursue you with speed and velocity.

For Jesus to have chosen these very persons after an all-night consultation shows that God’s ways are not our ways. In truth, even the “foolishness” of God is wiser than the highest human wisdom.

Like one lost in a strange land, the Israelites were really lost when they found themselves in the middle of nowhere in the desert. When God gave these commandments, he actually provided a map; a map towards achieving wisdom, joy, enlightenment, and long life.

As much as Jesus wants us to spread the Gospel, He recommends that we act wisely always. Do not wait for them to come and kill you, should they persecute you in one town, flee to the next; for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of man comes. (Matthew 10:23)
